The Challenge:
Company offers multiple solutions for their customers. As a result, they send several quotes to new and existing customers. Their quotation system needed updates to improve the overall estimation process to increase efficiency. ESW was hired to enhance their existing Quotation Calculator tool using Microsoft Excel.
The Solution:
ESW created custom Excel macros that work behind the scenes within the Quotation Calculator tool to automate calculations seamlessly based on specified inputs. The tool allows for standard data input, quote details selection as well as the ability to generate a completed Bill of Materials that can be previewed and exported to PDF. It can also be used by multiple users simultaneously.
